Overview

A One-Time Web Project is a fixed-scope, fixed-price engagement for businesses or individuals who need website work completed on a project basis. Unlike a monthly subscription, there is no ongoing commitment, no recurring billing, and no maintenance relationship after the project concludes.

One-time projects are available in three tiers — Basic, Standard, and Full Build — each defined by the scope of work involved. All tiers include professional design and development work, mobile-responsive implementation, and quality assurance testing prior to delivery. Work that falls outside the stated scope of a given tier is quoted and invoiced separately before it begins.

One-time projects are available to new clients only. Existing WebEaze plan subscribers are not eligible. One-time project pricing cannot be substituted for a plan add-on, discounted, or applied as a credit toward a subscription.

Project Tiers

Three tiers are available depending on the nature and scope of your project. Each tier has a defined page or scope limit. Work that exceeds the included scope is invoiced separately at the applicable rate before it begins. For current pricing on all tiers, see the Fee Schedule.

Basic

Intended for small, focused changes to an existing website. This tier covers a single page and is appropriate for text edits, image replacements, layout tweaks, minor bug fixes, or isolated section updates. If revisions are required on additional pages, each is invoiced separately. Typical completion time is 3–5 business days from the date work is confirmed.

Standard

Intended for broader updates across an existing website. This tier covers up to two pages and is appropriate for content changes, layout adjustments, and section redesigns. If work is required on more than two pages, each additional scope block is invoiced separately. Typical completion time is 5–7 business days from the date work is confirmed.

Full Build

A complete website designed and developed from the ground up. This tier includes up to three pages plus a contact page, a custom design tailored to your brand, and full mobile optimization. Domain registration, if required, is not included in the base price and will be added to your invoice separately. Pages beyond the included scope are invoiced per page before that work begins. The first draft is typically ready within 7–14 business days of confirmed scope and payment.

Scope of Work

The following deliverables and exclusions apply uniformly across all three project tiers. Anything not listed as included below is considered outside the scope of a one-time project and must be quoted and approved separately before work begins.

Not Included in Any Tier

  • Ongoing maintenance or future updates
  • Hosting, backups, or security monitoring
  • Priority support, performance reports, or strategy sessions
  • Google Business Profile setup or management
  • Domain registration (invoiced separately if required)
  • Content creation or copywriting of any kind

Post-Delivery Revisions

Upon delivery of your completed project, you are entitled to request up to three minor revisions within 14 calendar days, provided that each revision falls within the original agreed-upon scope. Revision requests submitted after the 14-day window has elapsed, or requests that exceed the original scope, will be treated as a new project and quoted accordingly.

Revisions considered minor include, but are not limited to:

  • Small text changes such as updated wording, phone numbers, business hours, or addresses
  • Swapping an image, logo, or icon for a provided replacement asset
  • Adjusting a color, font size, or element spacing
  • Correcting a typographical error or fixing a broken link

The following are not considered minor revisions and will be quoted and invoiced separately:

  • Adding a new section, page, or feature not included in the original scope
  • Redesigning a page layout or altering the overall visual structure of the site
  • Adding functionality not originally requested, such as booking systems, galleries, or contact forms beyond basic implementation
  • Creative improvements or enhancements that exceed what was agreed upon and delivered

Eligibility

One-time web projects are available exclusively to new clients who do not hold an active WebEaze subscription. The following eligibility conditions apply in full:

  • Existing subscribers are not eligible. Clients currently enrolled in an Essential or Growth plan may not use one-time project pricing in place of or alongside their subscription. All update and change requests for active subscribers are handled through the standard Website Request process included in their plan.
  • No substitutions or discounts. One-time project pricing is fixed and non-negotiable. It cannot be applied as a credit toward a monthly subscription, substituted for a plan add-on at a different price point, or combined with promotional offers unless explicitly stated in writing by WebEaze.
  • Add-on services remain available. One-time project clients may separately subscribe to available add-on services — including the AI Chatbot, Ad Management, Newsletter Management, and Google Business Profile management — without enrolling in a monthly plan. These are billed independently and governed by their own terms. See the Available Add-Ons section for details.
  • Refunds follow the standard Refund Policy. Because design and development work begins upon payment and confirmed scope, one-time project fees are non-refundable once the project has commenced. Clients are encouraged to review the Refund Policy in full prior to submitting payment.

Transitioning to a Monthly Plan

Clients who complete a one-time project and subsequently decide to enroll in a monthly plan are eligible for a courtesy transition incentive, provided they subscribe within 14 calendar days of their project delivery date. This incentive is available once per client, is non-transferable, and cannot be applied retroactively after the 14-day window has passed.

Upon qualifying enrollment, the following will be waived in full:

  • Website Setup & Onboarding Fee — waived entirely. The one-time setup and onboarding fee normally charged at the start of a new subscription will not apply to clients transitioning from a completed one-time project.
  • First month's subscription payment — waived entirely. Your first month of the chosen plan will not be charged. Regular monthly billing begins at the start of the second month.

To redeem this incentive, contact WebEaze directly before completing your subscription checkout. This offer cannot be applied after a subscription has already been activated.

Policies

Refund Policy

All payments are final and non-refundable. No exceptions for:

  • Monthly or annual subscription fees
  • The one-time setup fee
  • Add-on services and domain fees
  • Completed design or development work

Billing errors must be reported within 14 days of the charge. Contact us with the date, amount, and last four digits of your payment method and we'll investigate.

Cancellation

Cancel anytime — no fees, no notice period. Log in to your Stripe portal and cancel directly. It takes effect immediately.

  • No further charges after cancellation
  • No refund for the current billing period
  • Your site may go offline depending on your hosting setup
  • Files held for 30 days, then permanently deleted

Transferring your site? Plans under 12 months incur a Site Transfer fee. Plans 12+ months transfer free. Domain retrieval (if WebEaze registered it) is subject to a retrieval fee. See the Fee Schedule.

Annual plans stay active through the end of the paid period — no prorated refunds for unused months.

Reactivation within 30 days is subject to a reactivation fee. After 30 days, files may be gone and it's treated as a new project. See the Fee Schedule.

Plan pauses are not available.

Support

All plans include ongoing maintenance and updates via the Website Request page. Support channels depend on your plan:

Essential Email only, via request form
Growth Email, chat, phone & video. Higher priority.

Out of scope (quoted separately before work begins):

  • Redesigning more than 30% of the site
  • Custom development, CRM integrations, or automations
  • E-commerce setup (Growth plan required)
  • Content creation or copywriting
  • Booking systems or custom forms not originally included

Billing & Fees

Subscriptions are billed through Stripe — monthly on the same date each month, or annually on your anniversary. Manage everything via the Stripe Client Portal.

  • Setup fee: A one-time fee at signup. Included in annual plans — not charged separately. See the Fee Schedule.
  • Upgrades: Take effect immediately with a prorated charge.
  • Downgrades: Take effect at end of current billing cycle.
  • Failed payments: Stripe retries automatically. Account may be suspended after ~7 days if unresolved.
  • Taxes: Calculated automatically by Stripe based on your billing address and itemized on each invoice.
  • Price changes: 30 days' notice by email. Your rate won't change mid-cycle.

Domain & Hosting

We handle DNS and hosting setup for every plan. Our default stack is GitHub Pages (hosting) + Namecheap (domains) — hosting is fully covered at no extra cost on this setup.

  • Essential: Setup included. Hosting is free on GitHub Pages. Other providers are your cost.
  • Growth: Setup included + a hosting credit toward hosting or domain costs. See the Fee Schedule.

For coverage to apply: site must be on GitHub Pages, domain through Namecheap, standard extension (.com, .net, .org).

Bringing your own domain? We'll connect it for free. You keep renewing it with your registrar. Prefer WordPress, Wix, or another host? We work with it — you pay them directly, no markup from us.

Custom Work & Extra Fees

Anything outside your plan's scope is quoted before work begins — no surprise charges. Common out-of-scope items include:

  • Additional pages beyond your plan's included count
  • E-commerce setup (Growth plan required)
  • Live chat integration
  • Custom forms or CRM integrations
  • Booking system setup
  • Campaign landing pages
  • Footer credit removal
  • Same-day turnaround requests
  • Weekend or after-hours requests

Custom development projects require a signed Scope of Work before work begins and are non-refundable once started.

Credits & Transfers

  • Growth hosting credit: Growth plan clients receive a credit toward hosting or domain costs. Applied as a discount or used to purchase on your behalf. Doesn't carry over or convert to cash. See the Fee Schedule for the amount.
  • Downgrade credit: If you downgrade, a credit for the unused portion of your cycle may be applied to a future invoice.
  • Site transfer: Plans under 12 months incur a transfer fee. Plans 12+ months transfer free. All balances must be cleared first. See the Fee Schedule.
  • Domain retrieval: If WebEaze registered your domain, a retrieval fee applies to transfer it to you. Without payment, it may lapse. See the Fee Schedule.
  • File exports: Files held 30 days after cancellation. Request them within that window at no charge (balance must be clear).
