Your Domain, Handled

Not sure what to do with your domain? Answer two quick questions and we'll point you in the right direction.

Step 1 of 2

Do you already have a domain name?

Step 2 of 2

How do you want to manage your domain?

What exactly is a domain name?

A domain is the address people type to find your website, like yourbusiness.com. It's how customers find you online.

You rent a domain annually from a company called a registrar. Common ones include GoDaddy, Namecheap, and Cloudflare. We can work with whatever you have, or get you a new one if you're starting fresh.

Connecting a domain to your website just means updating a couple of settings, called DNS records, to point your domain to where your site lives. We handle all of that.

FAQ

Common questions

Plain-English answers to what we hear most.

No. Your email (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, etc.) will keep working. We're careful to preserve your email settings during any domain change. Just let us know which service you use and we'll make sure nothing gets interrupted.
That's okay, it happens a lot. Search your email inbox for "domain renewal" or "domain registration." It's usually wherever renewal notices come from. If you're still not sure, give us your domain name and we'll look it up.
Domains are typically renewed annually. If you transfer your domain to us, we handle renewals automatically so it never expires. If you keep it at your current registrar, you'll need to renew it each year yourself.
It's like a password for transferring your domain, proving you're the owner. If you choose to transfer to us, you'll need to get this code from your current registrar. There's usually a button for it in your account settings and we'll walk you through exactly how to find it.
This is a security requirement set by ICANN, the organization that manages domains worldwide. The waiting period gives you time to cancel if the transfer wasn't authorized by you. Your site continues working the whole time, and most transfers complete faster than 7 days.
Absolutely. Your domain is yours. If you ever decide to leave, we'll help you transfer it wherever you need it. We don't hold domains hostage.
For most businesses we recommend .com if it's available. It's the most recognized and trusted. If your ideal .com is taken, we might suggest .co, .io, or an industry-specific extension like .law or .shop. We'll give you a few choices so you can decide.
