When your transfer is free

Your transfer is free once either of these is true: your plan has been active for at least 12 months, or you've paid the plan's full annual value ($1,690 for Essential, $2,490 for Growth). Whichever happens first is what counts.

• Website files will be provided within 30 days of receiving your cancellation email.
• Domain management can be transferred if requested within 30 days.

When the $99 transfer fee applies

A $99 transfer fee applies if your plan is under 12 months old and you haven't yet paid its full annual value. To get your files and move domain management, pay the $99 within 2 working days of cancellation.

• Website files will be permanently deleted within 2 working days of cancellation.
• Domain management will be canceled within 2 working days of cancellation.
• The $99 site transfer fee must be paid within that window if you wish to receive your website files and transfer domain management.

How to Request a Transfer

Deadlines apply from the time the cancellation email is sent to you. Working days are defined as Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm Eastern Time. Transfer requests must be submitted by email within the stated timeframes by replying to the cancellation email.
