If the $99 transfer fee doesn't apply to you

The transfer is free if your plan has been active for at least 12 months, or you've paid at least the plan's full annual value ($1,690 for Essential, $2,490 for Growth) — whichever comes first.

• Website files will be provided within 30 days of receiving your cancellation email.
• Domain management can be transferred if requested within 30 days.

If the $99 transfer fee applies to you

A $99 site transfer fee applies if your plan is under 12 months old and you haven't yet paid the equivalent of the plan's full annual value.

• Website files will be permanently deleted within 2 working days of cancellation.
• Domain management will be canceled within 2 working days of cancellation.
• The $99 site transfer fee must be paid within that window if you wish to receive your website files and transfer domain management.

How to Request a Transfer

Deadlines apply from the time the cancellation email is sent to you. Working days are defined as Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm Eastern Time. Transfer requests must be submitted by email within the stated timeframes by replying to the cancellation email.
