This Cancellation Policy governs the termination of services between WebEaze ("Company," "we," "us") and any individual or entity ("Client," "you") subscribed to a WebEaze website management plan. By subscribing to WebEaze services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms set forth in this document.
Section 1

Scope and Agreement

This policy applies to all WebEaze subscription plans, including monthly and annual billing arrangements. It supplements the WebEaze Terms of Service and governs specifically what occurs when a subscription is terminated by either party.

In the event of a conflict between this policy and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service shall control.

Section 2

How to Cancel

Clients may cancel their subscription at any time. No advance notice or written request is required.

2.1   Self-Service Cancellation

Log in to the Stripe billing portal at billing.stripe.com and cancel the active subscription. Cancellation takes effect immediately upon confirmation in the portal.

2.2   Assisted Cancellation

If you are unable to cancel via the billing portal, contact WebEaze support at support@webeaze.io with a written cancellation request. We will process the request within two business days and confirm via email.

Section 3

Effect of Cancellation

The following table describes what occurs at each stage after cancellation is confirmed.

Timeframe What Occurs
Immediately The subscription ends. WebEaze ceases processing update and support requests. The website may be taken offline at our discretion.
Up to 30 days For active subscription plan clients, website files are typically retained on our servers during this period to allow for reactivation. This retention is not guaranteed and does not apply to all account types.
After 30 days Website files may be permanently deleted from WebEaze servers. The Company is not responsible for any loss of data or content following this period.
Section 4

Website Ownership and Transfer

Ownership rights vary depending on the nature of the content or asset in question.

Client-Owned Assets

All content provided by the Client, including text, images, logos, and brand materials, remains the sole property of the Client at all times.

WebEaze-Owned Assets

The website design, custom code, layouts, and templates developed by WebEaze remain the intellectual property of WebEaze unless a formal transfer is completed.

4.1   Site Transfer Fee
If the Client's plan is under 12 months old and the total amount paid is less than the plan's annual value at the then-current rate (e.g., $1,690 for the Essential Plan; $2,490 for the Growth Plan), a Site Transfer fee of $99 applies. Plans that have been active for 12 months or more, or where the Client has paid at least the plan's full annual value, may transfer at no additional charge. See the Fee Schedule for complete details.
Section 5

Domain Names and Data

The following table outlines the treatment of domain names and account data upon cancellation.

Item Policy
Client-registered domain If the Client registered and controls the domain independently, it remains the Client's property. WebEaze will disconnect it from our servers upon cancellation.
Domain registered by WebEaze If WebEaze registered or paid for the domain on the Client's behalf, a Domain Retrieval fee of $99 applies to transfer ownership to the Client. Without payment, the domain may be allowed to lapse at the end of its registration period.
Client portal access Portal access is deactivated upon cancellation. Clients are advised to download all invoices and account records prior to canceling.
Communication records WebEaze retains communication and transaction records in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Deletion requests may be submitted to legal@webeaze.io.
Section 6

Reactivation

Clients who wish to resume service after cancellation may do so subject to the conditions below.

Within 30 Days

The website may be reactivated with minimal setup. A reactivation fee of $199 applies, and a new subscription begins on the date of reactivation.

After 30 Days

Files may have been deleted. Reactivation is treated as a new project and the standard setup fee of $199 applies. Prior design work may no longer be available.

Section 7

Annual Subscriptions

Clients on an annual billing plan are subject to the following conditions upon cancellation.

Section 8

Refunds

Cancellation of a subscription stops future billing. It does not, by itself, entitle the Client to a refund for the current or any prior billing period.

No Automatic Refund

Canceling a subscription does not trigger an automatic refund for the current billing period or any amounts previously charged.

Exceptions

Refund exceptions may be considered under limited circumstances. Refer to the Refund Policy for the full criteria and process.
