This Cancellation Policy governs the termination of services between WebEaze ("Company," "we," "us") and any individual or entity ("Client," "you") subscribed to a WebEaze website management plan. By subscribing to WebEaze services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms set forth in this document.
Section 1

Scope and Agreement

Thank you for being the best part of WebEaze. We hope the thought of canceling your website management plan never crosses your mind. But if it does, this policy is here to explain how cancellation works, what happens to your website and data, and what your options are.

This policy applies to all WebEaze plans and custom billing arrangements. In the event of a conflict with this policy, the Terms of Service controls.

Section 2

How to Cancel

Clients may cancel their subscription at any time. Clients are not required to notify us in advance, however, it may be helpful to avoid accidental charges for services not used.

2.1   Self-Service Cancellation

Follow the steps in the Help Center to cancel your subscription. Cancellation will take effect immediately and a cancellation email will be sent to the email address on file.

2.2   Assisted Cancellation

If you are unable to cancel via the billing portal, send a written cancellation request to support@webeaze.io. Provide your website URL, reason for cancellation, and requested cancellation date. We will process your request within 1 business day.

Section 3

Effect of Cancellation

Timelines are important for up to 30 days, starting once the cancellation email is sent to you. There are no exceptions.

Immediately

The plan is cancelled effective immediately. WebEaze stops processing updates or any ongoing support requests. Your site may be taken offline at our discretion after 2 working days following cancellation.

Up to 30 days

Website files are typically retained during this period to allow for reactivation. This retention is not guaranteed and does not apply to all account types. See Section 5.

After 30 days

Website files may be permanently deleted. The Company is not responsible for any loss of data or content following this period.

Section 4

Grace Periods

In the event of a failed payment, WebEaze may offer a Grace Period during which the Client can resume their plan without it being cancelled. It is available for (7) days following the first failed payment. Visit the Help Center for more information on Grace Periods.

Cancellations due to non-payment do not occur immediately. After the Grace Period expires, the plan will be cancelled that next business day.

Section 5

Website Ownership and Transfer

Ownership rights vary depending on the nature of the asset in question.

Client-Owned Assets

All content provided by the Client, including text, images, logos, brand materials, and other intellectual property, remains the sole property of the Client at all times. This will be provided to you upon request after cancellation with no fee.

WebEaze-Owned Assets

The website design, custom code, layouts, templates, logos created by WebEaze, and other proprietary materials remain the intellectual property of WebEaze.

Site transfer fee

If the Client's plan is under 12 months old and the total amount paid is less than the plan's annual value at the then-current rate, a Site Transfer fee of $99 applies.

Plans that have been active for 12 months or longer, or where the Client has paid at least the plan's full annual value, may transfer at no additional charge.

The current annual value for Essential Plan: $1,690, Growth Plan: $2,490, Elite Plan: $3,499.
Section 6

Domain Names and Data

What happens to your domain (URL) and account data after cancellation depends on how your domain was registered and the type of account you have.

If Client registered the URL independently

The URL remains the Client's property and we will no longer manage it. If it was connected to our services, it will be disconnected upon cancellation.

If WebEaze registered/paid for the URL on Client's behalf

The URL may be transferred to the Client for a Domain Retrieval fee of $99. If the fee is not paid, the domain will lapse at the end of its registration period. WebEaze is not responsible for any loss of domain ownership or access resulting from non-payment of the Domain Retrieval fee.

Account data and communication records

Client can access their billing portal and invoices for tax/accounting purposes at any time. WebEaze retains communication and transaction records in accordance with our Privacy Policy until the agreement survival period ends. Clients may submit data deletion requests to legal@webeaze.io.

Section 7

Section 8

Section 9

Confidentiality

WebEaze respects the confidentiality of Client information. Any sensitive data shared during the course of service will be handled in accordance with our Terms of Service. Upon cancellation, WebEaze will not disclose any confidential information to third parties without Client consent, except as required by law.

Section 10

Refunds

Cancellation of a subscription stops future billing. It does not, by itself, entitle the Client to a refund for the current or any prior billing period.

WebEaze has a no-refund policy for any fees paid toward the service, including subscriptions. You may be entitled to a Refund Exception under certain circumstances. Please visit the Refund Policy for the full Policy and any applicable Exceptions.
