Web accessibility means your website can be used by people with visual, hearing, motor, or cognitive disabilities. The ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) has been interpreted by courts to apply to websites.

This is complex, and businesses have faced lawsuits for inaccessible sites.

What we include by default

Your website includes these accessibility features:

  • Proper heading structure (H1, H2, H3) for screen reader navigation
  • Alt text on images so screen readers can describe them
  • Sufficient color contrast between text and backgrounds
  • Keyboard-navigable links and buttons
  • Descriptive link labels (no "click here" links) unless necessary

Do we guarantee full ADA compliance?

No. Full WCAG 2.1 AA compliance is a higher standard that requires detailed audits, specialized testing, and sometimes significant code changes depending on the site's complexity. We don't certify compliance, and aren't liable for accessibility-related legal claims.

Formal accessibility audits

If your business requires documented accessibility compliance, hire an accessibility specialist to audit your site. We'll do our best to implement any necessary changes, by submitting a request.

Note: We're not legal advisors. Any legal issues related to accessibility should be addressed by a qualified attorney.
