Web accessibility means your website can be used by people with visual, hearing, motor, or cognitive disabilities. The ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) has been interpreted by courts to apply to websites, and businesses have faced lawsuits for inaccessible sites.

What WebEaze includes by default

Every website we build follows core accessibility practices:

  • Proper heading structure (H1, H2, H3) for screen reader navigation
  • Alt text on images so screen readers can describe them
  • Sufficient color contrast between text and backgrounds
  • Keyboard-navigable links and buttons
  • Descriptive link labels (no "click here" links)

Do we guarantee full WCAG compliance?

No. Full WCAG 2.1 AA compliance is a higher standard that requires detailed audits, specialized testing, and sometimes significant code changes depending on the site's complexity. We don't certify compliance, and we're not liable for accessibility-related legal claims.

If you need a formal audit

If your business requires documented accessibility compliance, we recommend hiring an accessibility specialist to audit your site. We can implement specific changes they identify. Submit a request and describe what you need.

Note: We're not legal advisors. If you have received a demand letter or legal notice related to accessibility, consult an attorney.
