Your domain is registered through a registrar (like GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google Domains, etc.) and needs to be renewed annually. If it expires, your website and email will go offline until the domain is renewed.

Who is responsible for renewing it?

Domain renewals are your responsibility. WebEaze doesn't manage domain registration or renewals on your behalf unless you purchased your domain through us as part of your plan. Check with your registrar to confirm your renewal date and that auto-renew is turned on.

What if it already expired?

Most registrars offer a grace period of 15 to 30 days after expiration where you can renew at the normal price. After that, there's usually a redemption fee to recover it. If the domain fully lapses, it becomes available for anyone to purchase.

Act fast: If your domain has expired or is close to expiring, log into your registrar and renew it immediately. A lapsed domain can result in your site and email going down, and recovering a dropped domain can be expensive.

Not sure who your registrar is?

You can look up any domain at lookup.icann.org to see who it's registered through. If you need help tracking it down, contact us and we'll assist.
