Some features we build or connect to your website rely on third-party platforms that charge their own subscription fees. These are separate from your WebEaze plan and are billed by the platform itself, not by us.

Common examples include email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, ConvertKit), social media feed widgets (Elfsight, Smash Balloon), booking tools (Calendly, Acuity), form builders, CRM tools, ecommerce platforms, and certain widget providers.

How billing works

When a third-party subscription is needed, there are two options:

Option 1: We invoice you and pay the provider

We sign up for or manage the subscription on your behalf and invoice you for the cost. You pay us, and we handle the provider relationship. This is the simplest route if you don't want to manage another account.

  • We manage the account and access on your behalf
  • You're invoiced monthly or as charges come up
  • Prices aren't locked. If the provider raises their rates, your invoice will adjust to match. We'll always let you know before that happens.
  • If you cancel your WebEaze plan, access to the third-party tool through our account ends

Option 2: You sign up and pay the provider directly

You create your own account with the provider and handle payment directly. We connect and configure it for your website, but you're the account holder.

  • You own the account and have full control
  • Payments, renewals, and billing terms are between you and the provider
  • If the provider changes pricing or cancels your account, that's outside our control

Your responsibility when you pay directly

If you choose to pay a third-party provider directly, you're fully responsible for everything on that account, including:

  • Keeping your payment method up to date
  • Understanding the provider's billing and cancellation terms
  • Any plan changes, overage charges, or renewals the provider applies
  • Notifying us if the subscription lapses or the service stops working
Heads up: If a third-party subscription lapses because of a missed payment on your end, the connected feature on your website may stop working. We can't restore it until the subscription is active again.

What to expect when we recommend a third-party tool

We'll always let you know before using a third-party tool that has its own cost. We'll tell you what it does, what it costs, and which billing option makes more sense for your situation. We don't add paid tools without your approval first.
