Acceptable Use Policy

Overview

WebEaze builds professional websites for small businesses. This policy describes the types of websites and content we will and won't work with, and what we expect from you as a client.

This policy applies to all WebEaze clients, including those on monthly or annual plans, one-time projects, and any other services we provide. By engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

What We Build

We specialize in websites for legitimate, operating small businesses. Accepted use cases include:

• Local service businesses (contractors, cleaners, landscapers, and similar trades)
• Retail stores and e-commerce shops selling legal products
• Restaurants, cafes, and food service businesses
• Professional services (consultants, accountants, attorneys, and similar)
• Licensed health and wellness providers
• Non-profit and community organizations
• Salons, spas, and personal care businesses
• Real estate and property management
• Events, entertainment, and creative businesses
• Educational services and tutoring

What We Don't Build

We reserve the right to decline any project that doesn't align with our values or services.

Always declined:

• Adult or sexually explicit content
• Hate speech, discrimination, or extremist content
• Illegal goods or services of any kind
• Sites designed to deceive, scam, or defraud
• Malware, phishing, or spam operations
• Unlicensed gambling or lottery platforms
• Sites impersonating other businesses or persons
• Content promoting violence or self-harm

Generally declined:

• Competing web design agencies
• Cryptocurrency exchanges or NFT platforms
• Multi-level marketing primary sites
• Political campaigns or lobbying organizations
• Sites requiring licensed medical or legal advice
• Cannabis retailers (state laws vary)
• Firearms dealers (reviewed case by case)

Client Conduct

We expect all clients to work with us in good faith.

• Communicate clearly and honestly. Provide accurate business information, content, and credentials when requested.
• Treat our team with respect. We have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, threats, or abusive communication toward any WebEaze team member.
• Do not make unauthorized changes. If we manage your site, do not modify the platform, code, or settings without letting us know first. Unauthorized changes may cause issues we are not responsible for fixing. See Can I manage my own website?
• Do not share login credentials without notice. If you need a third party to access your site or platform, inform us first.
• Do not add unauthorized third-party scripts. Custom code, tracking pixels, or plugins added without our knowledge may break your site. We are not liable for resulting damage.
• Do not misuse support. Support is for website-related needs. Excessive off-topic requests, repeated submissions for the same issue, or attempts to circumvent fair-use limits are not permitted. See our Fair Use Policy.

Content Rules

You are responsible for the content you ask us to publish on your website.

• You own and are responsible for your content. Text, images, logos, and other assets you provide must be legally yours to use.
• No copyright-infringing material. Do not ask us to publish images, text, or media that you do not have the rights to.
• No misleading or false claims. Content must accurately represent your business, products, and services. We will not publish false testimonials, fabricated reviews, or deceptive pricing.
• No content that violates applicable law. This includes consumer protection regulations, FTC disclosure requirements, and state or federal advertising laws.
• Legal pages are your responsibility. Privacy policies, terms of service, and disclaimers you ask us to publish must be reviewed by your own legal counsel. We can help create basic versions but do not provide legal advice. See Legal Pages.

Enforcement

What happens if this policy is violated.

• Warning. For minor violations, we'll notify you and request corrective action before taking further steps.
• Content removal. We may remove or refuse to publish specific content that violates this policy without affecting your overall plan or account.
• Immediate termination. For serious violations, we reserve the right to terminate your account immediately without notice or refund.
