Fonts shape how your brand feels. A clean sans-serif reads modern and approachable; a serif feels more established and formal. When we build your site we choose fonts that match the tone you describe, but you can absolutely request something specific.
How to request a font
When filling out your Content Submission Form, include the name of the font you want or a link to it. The best sources for web fonts are:
- Google Fonts β free, fast to load, and the easiest option for any platform we build on.
- Adobe Fonts β available if you have an active Adobe Creative Cloud subscription.
- Custom / brand font files β if your brand uses a licensed font, send us the font files (WOFF or WOFF2 format) and we'll apply them.
How many fonts should a website use?
Two is the standard: one for headings and one for body text. Using more than two fonts rarely improves the design and often makes the page feel inconsistent. If you're unsure, leave it to us and we'll pick a pairing that suits your brand.
What if I don't have a preference?
No problem. We'll choose an appropriate font pairing based on your industry and the overall style of your site. You can always request a change during the revision rounds if it doesn't feel right.
