Minor changes during the build are completely fine. The best way to handle them is through the client portal so nothing gets missed.
What counts as a minor change
- Updating text you already submitted
- Swapping a photo or logo
- Changing a color preference or font
- Adding or removing a section from a page
- Updating your business hours, phone number, or address
What counts as a scope change
A scope change is when a request would significantly change the direction or size of the project. Examples include adding pages that weren't part of the original plan, requesting a completely new design direction after work has already started, or adding features like booking systems or e-commerce that weren't discussed upfront.
Scope changes may affect the build timeline and could have additional fees depending on complexity. We'll always let you know before proceeding.
When is it too late to make changes?
It's never too late during the review stage. Once your site has launched, all changes go through the normal request process as part of your ongoing plan.
