We want to be upfront about what we do and what we don't. Knowing in advance saves everyone time and helps you find the right help when you need something outside our scope.
Things we don't do
- Writing your content from scratch. We'll format and present your words, but we don't write copy, service descriptions, bios, or blog posts for you. See Can you write the content for my website?
- Managing your social media accounts. We can embed a social feed or link your profiles to your site, but we don't post, schedule, or manage your Instagram, Facebook, or other social accounts.
- Designing print materials. Business cards, flyers, brochures, and signage are outside our scope. We build websites.
- IT or network support. We don't troubleshoot your computer, router, email client, or office software. If your website works but your local setup doesn't, that's outside what we can help with.
- Legal or compliance advice. We can add a privacy policy or terms page to your site, but we can't advise on what those policies should say for your specific business. That's a question for a lawyer.
- Custom software or app development. We build websites. Full-stack apps, internal tools, browser extensions, and mobile apps are outside what we build.
- Managing your third-party accounts. If you pay for a third-party tool directly, we can help connect it to your site, but we don't manage your Mailchimp list, Google Ads account, or other platforms on an ongoing basis unless that's a specific add-on service.
- Websites we won't build. See Websites we don't build or support for the full list of content and industries we decline.
What to do if you're not sure
If you're unsure whether something falls within our scope, just ask. Submit a request describing what you need and we'll tell you whether it's covered, what it would cost, or point you in the right direction if it's not something we do.
