Yes, we can build a dark-themed website. Whether it's available and what it involves depends on which platform your site is built on.

GitHub Pages (custom build)

Dark themes are fully supported on our custom GitHub Pages builds. If you request a dark design during the initial build, it's included as part of your standard build scope. If you want to switch an existing light-themed site to a dark theme after launch, that is a significant redesign and counts as additional scope. Check the Fee Schedule to see if a matching project tier applies.

WordPress

Dark theme support depends on the theme currently installed on your site. Some themes include a dark mode option or a dark color variant that can be enabled. Others require switching to a different theme entirely, which counts as a redesign. Submit a request and mention your current theme and what you're looking for. We'll review and let you know what is possible.

Wix and Squarespace

Both platforms offer dark-styled templates. Switching from a light template to a dark one is a template change, which is considered a redesign. If this is something you want, raise it before your initial build so it can be incorporated from the start rather than changed afterwards.

If you want a dark theme, the easiest time to request it's before your build starts. Changing the visual direction of an existing site takes considerably more work than building it that way from day one.
