We don't offer a formal pause feature. Plans are active unless canceled, and billing continues each cycle regardless of whether requests are submitted.
If you need a break
If you're going through a slow season, a life change, or just don't have updates to submit right now, your plan is still covering you: hosting, security monitoring, uptime checks, and backups continue running in the background whether or not you're actively making requests.
What you can do instead
- Cancel and reactivate later: You can cancel anytime and come back when you're ready. Just keep in mind that your previous billing date won't carry over, and a new setup process may be required if files have been removed. See what you keep when you cancel.
- Queue requests for later: You don't have to use updates every month. If you have upcoming changes you'd like to stage in advance, use Support Schedules to set them up now for a future date.
If you're considering canceling due to a financial hardship or an unusual circumstance, reach out before you cancel. We'd rather work something out than lose you as a client.
