When you receive an email from us saying your website is live, the build phase is complete and your site is published. That's a big milestone, and it also marks an important shift in how future work is handled.
What changes after launch
Once your site is live, all updates, edits, and changes fall under your plan agreement. Your plan includes unlimited ongoing maintenance, so we'll take care of things like text changes, image swaps, page additions, and other standard requests as part of your monthly plan.
During the build phase, we're actively constructing your site as part of the initial setup. After the "live" email, that phase is finished. Any work done from that point forward is covered by your plan, not the build.
Why launch timing matters
It's important to let us know when you're ready to launch. If you're not ready to go live yet, just say so and we won't publish until you give us the green light. Once the site is published, your plan is active and all requests go through the normal request process.
If you need additional changes before launch, let us know. The website build process includes 3 rounds of revisions.
What counts as a request after launch
After your site goes live, any change you'd like made falls under your plan. This includes:
- Text or content edits
- Photo or image updates
- New pages or sections
- Hours, pricing, or business info changes
- Layout or design adjustments
All of these are included in your plan and can be submitted anytime through your client portal.
