Messages is your conversation with the WebEaze team in your Client Portal. Ask a question, send us a file, or pick up where one of our emails left off.

What is it for?

Anything that isn't a change to your website, such as:

  • Questions about your account, plan or website
  • Files and links you want us to have, like logo files, a price list or a photo folder
  • Updates and reminders from us
Want something on your website changed? Submit a request instead. Requests are tracked from start to finish, so nothing slips through. There is a link to the request form right above the message box.

Where to find it

Go to your client portal > Menu > Messages. The newest messages sit at the bottom, right above the box where you write.

The Messages page in the portal, showing messages from WebEaze alongside your own

Send a message

Type in the box and press the button. Use the paperclip to attach photos, PDFs or documents, up to 5 per message.

Replies by email

When we send you a message, we also email it to you. Reply to that email and your reply shows up in Messages, marked By email, so the whole conversation stays in one place.

Emails about a specific request are different: a reply to one of those goes straight into that request, not Messages.

Save files to Files and links

When a message has a document, or a link to a shared folder on Google Drive, Dropbox or similar, select Save to Files and links under it. It is added to Files and links on Your business info, so it doesn't get lost as the conversation grows. We use what is there whenever we work on your site.

Once it is saved, the message shows In Files and links.

Turn a message into a request

If a message turns out to be a change you'd like made, select Turn into a request under it. The request form opens with your words already filled in, so you don't have to repeat yourself.

Do not share personal information. Don't include passwords, card numbers or other sensitive details in a message. To give us a login, use secure access.
